Studio record

Human Patch Heritage is a Brussels styling studio focused on apartments that still show their nineteenth- and early twentieth-century bones.

Who we are

The studio grew from freelance styling work along Avenue Louise and the streets around Place Flagey. We kept a drawing-sheet habit: every decision written where a carpenter can read it without a meeting.

Today we are a small team — a lead stylist, a measuring assistant, and trusted painters and upholsterers we call by name rather than by open tender.

YearNote
2016First paid salon restyle in an Ixelles maisonette near Rue du Bailli; hand-drawn clearance notes became the studio method.
2019Expanded into Saint-Gilles duplexes; began formal colour sampling against marble chimneypieces rather than catalogue swatches alone.
2022Opened the Avenue Louise correspondence desk for client meetings; survey work remains on site in client apartments.
2025Codified the four-stage sheet process and published public fee ranges in EUR for clarity before booking.
2026Continuing focus on heritage apartment styling with reversible options for renters in Brussels-Capital Region.

Philosophy

Heritage rooms already carry ornament. Our job is to make daily life fit without erasing that layer — quieter evenings, clearer paths, and furniture that arrives through real Brussels stairwells.
